Firefly Fields Youth Ranch
Firefly Fields Youth Ranch is a Christian based non-profit 501(c)(3) located in Vergas, MN that aspires to teach low-income or emotionally stressed children responsibility, love, hard-work, commitment through animals, especially horses.

My connection to the ranch is that my childhood friend Emily Mingo founded the ranch. To support the ranch I donate my graphic abilities in order to help promote the cause.
The Brand

Founder Emily Mingo, sent the photo on the left to be an example of what she wants for the brand. It is two connected F's for Firefly Fields that also form a cross. The right is the execution of the brand.
The Logo

The Logo was created from the silhouette of one of the ranch horses, Nala along with some fireflies and fonts that were picked by the founder.

6x4' Banner made to be used in displays and parades

The brand is illuminated by fireflies in tribute to the ranch's verse "For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light. Ephesians 5:8"

FFYR was holding a pizza party fundraiser at Pizza Ranch because they donate some of the proceeds to whichever charity is hosting the event. For this I donated the graphic design.

I did not create this stock design but I did set it up with the FFYR brand and a Firefly marking the Ranch's Location and made the art production ready

As a Christmas present to the founder of FFYR, Emily Mingo. I wrote and illustrated a children's book explaining (all through rhyming) the story behind a horse they rescued along with what inspired Emily to begin the ranch in the first place.

I made stencils out of vinyl for FFYR to create their own tiedye shirts with the brand on them.
